Volunteering

With the exception of our director, the work of the Coalition has always been conducted by the miracle workers we call volunteers, who have served in a variety of capacities –from serving as volunteer lobbyists and submitting testimony, to reviewing books for our recommended children’s book lists, to maintaining our social media presence, to designing exciting school programs.

We can connect your talents and passion for children to something meaningful. Tell us about yourself and your interests on this simple form so we have a head start.

Thanks for your interest!

    Membership

Membership means a lot to the Washington County Coalition for Children. First, it shows us – and the people who pay attention – that people care enough to add your names to the rolls. That’s a powerful advocacy tool in itself.

Second, your membership dues help pay our most basic expenses, from copy paper and toner to hosting a meeting of parents. No organization keeps its operating expenses lower than we do!

Membership is truly affordable, $20 for individuals, $100 for nonprofit agencies, and $150 for businesses.
    And membership comes with benefits!
